Ebosa SA was a Swiss ébauche manufacturer registered on 2 March 1925 in Grenchen, Canton of Solothurn, by Paul Glocker. Starting with 36 employees, the company grew by specialising in Roskopf (pin-lever) movements from 14 to 21 lignes and was a founding member of the Roskopf Association. Ebosa produced one of the first automatic Roskopf movements in the 1950s, and added an analogue quartz movement — the “Bluebird” — in 1980. By 1967 the firm employed over 500 workers in a modern Grenchen factory.

On 27 February 1991, the ébauche manufacturing operation was sold to ETA; Ebosa then refocused on watchmaking machinery production. For collectors, Ebosa/EB-marked pin-lever movements are the common find in entry-level and mass-market Swiss watches of the 1940s–1980s — the Roskopf platform was the backbone of affordable Swiss timekeeping in that era.
