Alfred Rochat & Fils Calibers

Alfred Rochat & Fils is a small independent Swiss watchmaker established in 1941 in the Vallée de Joux — one of Switzerland's premier centres of haute horlogerie. The firm trains watchmakers in the traditional Vallée de Joux craft tradition and produces finished watches under the brand name Arola. They are not a movement manufacturer but an assembler and finisher working with established Swiss ebauches.

The caliber documented here is a Valjoux 7750-based automatic chronograph — one of the industry's most widely used automatic chronograph movements — finished to Alfred Rochat's specifications. The firm remains active today as a small-scale quality producer.
