Damas was a Swiss watch brand produced by Béguelin & Co. of Tramelan, Canton of Berne. Charles Édouard Béguelin established the first ébauche factory in Tramelan in 1903, with completed watches from 1907. The Damas brand name was acquired from the bankrupt Tramelan Watch Company around 1923; movements bore the mark BTC (Béguelin, Tramelan, Chronos). The range covered pocket watches, men's and women's wristwatches, and military contract pieces — notably supplying the British Army during World War II.

From the late 1940s, Béguelin ceased in-house movement production and sourced Ebauches SA calibers. In 1972, under ASUAG rationalisation pressure, Béguelin & Cie merged with the Hoga factory into an ARSA-led group. BTC-stamped movements from the pre-1940s era are the collector interest here — independently produced Swiss ébauches before the full consolidation of Swiss movement supply.
