Albert Rielé was a Swiss watchmaker and horologist whose atelier in La Chaux-de-Fonds traces its formal registration to March 1883, though origins in the trade date to the 1860s. Initially operating as a buying-and-selling counter for imported components, the business evolved into a workshop assembling cases, movements, dials, and parts from local suppliers. Rielé was a renowned precision craftsman specialising in Breguet hairsprings and participated in the 1886 La Chaux-de-Fonds watch exhibition, receiving a distinction for his work.

In 1901 Rielé registered the trademark Chronomètre maritime, indicating active involvement in precision marine timekeepers. He also held exclusive Swiss distribution rights for movements from the German firm Moeri (lever movements, 50,000 per year), suggesting a sizeable commercial operation alongside the craft atelier. The firm continued under successors and today Albert Riele operates as a boutique Swiss watch brand. The documented caliber is a 19-ligne pocket-watch movement.
