Patek Philippe SA is a Swiss luxury watch manufacturer founded in Geneva on 1 May 1839 as Patek, Czapek & Cie by Polish watchmaker Antoni Patek and Franciszek Czapek. Following the dissolution of that partnership in 1845, Patek joined forces with French watchmaker Jean Adrien Philippe — inventor of the keyless winding mechanism — creating Patek, Philippe & Cie in 1845 and incorporating as Patek Philippe & Co. in 1851.

Since 1932 the company has been owned by the Stern family and is today the last fully independent family-owned manufacture in Geneva. Universally regarded as the pinnacle of Swiss horology, Patek Philippe is renowned for its extraordinary complications — perpetual calendars, minute repeaters, split-seconds chronographs — and for landmark models including the Calatrava, Nautilus, and Aquanaut. The brand's movements set the standard for hand-finishing and precision, and its complicated watches regularly achieve the highest prices at auction. The Patek Philippe Museum in Geneva opened in 2001.
