R. Gsell & Co. Inc. of New York (founder Roland Gsell, a Swiss immigrant from the La Chaux-de-Fonds region) used code RXG to import watches including Cortebert, Zodiac, and Olympic-branded pieces. Gsell registered the Olympic trademark in the US in 1945. The company, based on Maiden Lane in Manhattan, imported complete watches and movements from Switzerland and assembled finished watches using American-made cases at its New York factory. Gsell retired in the mid-1970s.

Zodiac's main US importer was separately Edward Trauner Inc. (Zodiac Watch Agency), though Gsell handled Zodiac during an earlier period.
