Doxa SA (Le Locle, founded 1889 by 21-year-old Georges Ducommun, who adopted the 'Doxa' brand name in 1902) held a second US import code. Doxa joined ASUAG in 1968 and was merged with Tavannes, Cyma, and Ernest Borel as Synchron. The brand gained wide US recognition in the late 1960s through its partnership with Jacques Cousteau's US Divers company for the SUB dive watch.
