Henry Blank & Co. (Newark, NJ) used code HXB to import IWC movements, which were then cased in US-made cases and sold under the 'Cresarrow' brand name. The firm — originally Whiteside & Blank, later Henry Blank & Co. — operated from at least 1912 through the 1950s, supplying cased IWC movements to prestigious US retailers including Tiffany & Co. This arrangement circumvented high US tariffs on complete watches by importing movements separately.
