| Description | Ollendorf Watch Co. was founded in 1868 by Isador Ollendorff in New York City as an importer and export-import house. The Gotham brand was Ollendorff's flagship trade name, with watches cased in Switzerland or in the US. In 1956, Ollendorff was sold to the Gotham Watch Company, which later merged with Winton Watch Company. Ollendorff held several import codes (IXO, OXG, DOW, GXI) and imported movements from makers including Felsa, Font, A. Schild, and A. Michel. |
