Import Code NOU Calibers

Ditisheim & Co. (founders of Vulcain — the Ditisheim brothers established the manufacture in 1858 as Ditisheim Frères, renamed Vulcain by Maurice Ditisheim in 1894) used code NOU alongside Louvic, Hoda, and Vulcain for US imports. The presence of both NOU and PWP (and other codes) on Vulcain Cricket movements confirms that the brand used multiple US import channels simultaneously or sequentially.
