Import Code JXS Calibers

Aerotel (the US import arm associated with Heuer) used code JXS for Ed. Heuer & Co. chronographs imported into the US.

Aerotel-branded watches carry movements signed 'Ed. Heuer Swiss' and dials signed 'Aerotel, Switzerland,' with the JXS stamp on the balance cock and inside case backs. Examples include 1940s Landeron 13 column-wheel chronographs, confirming JXS represents the Heuer-to-Aerotel US import channel.
